  • Performances: The festival would showcase a diverse range of performances that explore queer themes and experiences, including plays, musicals, monologues, and spoken word performances.
  • Workshops and panels: The festival can host workshops and panels that provide a platform for queer artists and activists to share their experiences, insights, and strategies for creating change. These can cover topics such as queer representation in the arts, LGBTQ+ rights and activism, and the intersectionality of queer identities with race, gender, and class.

Excursions to Cultural and Historical Sites

The collective will organize excursions to help artists connect with their history and heritage. For many queer people, traditional African cultures have been used to erase and marginalize them due to conservative interpretations of those cultures. Visiting cultural and historical sites can help artists discover positive and affirming insights into their indigenous cultures and also invoke a sense of belonging and pride in their identity.
